Lewis Good afternoon, I just wanted to say thank you for making these patches. My daughter was diagnosed a few months ago with amblyopia and it has been a trying time since. We started off with the ortopad patches, but it was usually a fight getting them on. Plus, the longer she has to wear them, the more her skin reacts to them. We are to be patching 6 hours a day and are up to 4.5 hours. She picked out your Purple Power Patch and loves it. She wants me to order one in every color. She can put the patch on by herself and has even shown her caretakers at daycare and preschool how to put the patch on over her glasses. We go back to the doctor in June and I have no idea what to expect. Lydia still does not like to wear the patch, obviously because she cannot see as well, but it does not seem quite the struggle it was. I will be placing future orders with you! Thanks again! I just thought I would e-mail to let you know that your patches have made all of the difference in the world for our 4 year old, Catherine. She strongly disliked the stick on patches. We tried the drop for awhile because she disliked the stick on patches so much. She did really well letting me put the drop in, but it started to backfire because she was trying to use the good eye with the drop in it instead of using the weak eye. We could tell because the weak eye was turning in. So...I thought how are we going to get her to wear the patch again? She is a pink fanatic, so I thought if I could only find a pink patch she would probably think it would be fun to wear. That is when I went on line and found your web site. She loves her patch pals!! She has gone from 20/200 in her weak eye ( with the glasses on) to 20/40. We have patched for about 10 months now. We always get the most positive comments from people about the patches. The goal is 20/20 with the glasses, but we are in no hurry because she loves the patches so much!! Thank you! This has made my life easier too as a parent, because my child is happy!! My child was diagnosed with Amblyopia back in October 2003 and after a week of peeling her eyebrows off and crying when we would try to remove the patch I went out seeking other options and stumbled across you via the internet. I was so pleased! You are a true blessing to our family. I purchased 3 patches and they were a "hit" with my 6 year old and her eye doctor. The process of patching became manageable overnight!!!! What a miracle!! We received the patch and out daughter loves it, she is actually wearing her glasses more and without a fight. What a good idea. Thank you very much for the your prompt attention to my email. My grandmother received the patch yesterday and loves it. I also received a shipment of 3 patches for my son that my mother ordered. We love Patch Pals and like I've said before, I have approached people on the street who have children with the "band-aid" patch and told them about you. My son just got his patchpals yesterday and wore one today for the first time. After 2 ½ years of that disgusting, sweaty, sticky Coverlet patch, I cannot thank you enough for making these! What a relief from the daily battle over getting him to wear his patch. I live in Chicago and the heat this summer has been unbearable, and has caused him to sweat through his patches in about 10 minutes flat. Since we have to patch 4 hours a day, you can imagine how many we have gone through. We also started noticing that his skin was becoming so accustomed to the stickiness that they weren’t even sticking all that well anymore. daughter was so excited to get her package of new patches in the mail
today! She has been using the adhesive patches and they were causing
an awful reaction all around her eye. I was afraid she would have a permanent
bright red ring there. She is crazy about animals, so we ordered
the puppy, the kitty, and the panda. All three are adorable, and
she's busy figuring out which one she is going to wear to school first.

Mom to mom, thanks for marketing your ingenuity. Jana (age 3) was
thrilled to get her patches in the mail. We were pretty desperate
for some way to make this process a little less of a battle, and she is
so much more agreeable to wearing a puppy on her glasses than the method
her doctor had recommended we try (tape on the lens). It was a daily
struggle, and I just hated to put her through that (plus she was getting
adept at "cheating"!). At least this makes it a bit of
fun for her!

daughter got her glasses in August 2002, she was 21 months old. Needless
to say it was a very difficult time. As if that was not enough, in January
we were told we had to patch her left eye. Her ophthalmologist took
pity on my tears and taped her glass. She cheated right away and I gave
in to the adhesive patches which eventually caused skin irritations
(even the hypoallergenic ones). In my despair, I spent several hours
on the internet and found Patchpals.com. Thank God! and Thank you! I
ordered a patch that arrived rather quickly and is working wonderfully.
We have an appointment on Monday and I will be taking copies of your
website to the Ophthalmologists office so that other parents can avoid
the frustration that I and so many others have gone through. L.Camejo Alex has been wearing glasses and a patch since he was 10 months old. We tried the adhesive patches, but his skin was too sensitive. Our ophthalmologist told us about PatchPals, and we love it!
